Works in any Windows VST3 host: Mixcraft, Reaper, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Bitwig.
The standalone apps run on their own.
Pro Tools (AAX) is coming soon. It needs Avid's AAX signing, which is in progress.
Mac is not available yet.
Install guide

Unzip the download.

Copy the
.vst3folder toC:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. - 03
Rescan plugins in your DAW.

Prefer no DAW? The standalone app runs directly — just double-click it.

Windows may show a SmartScreen warning for new apps. Click More info → Run anyway.
AI Link troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The AI doesn't mention Tonetell | Fully quit the AI app (Claude or ChatGPT) from its tray icon and reopen it. |
| The AI says no plugins are open | Open the plugin and start playback once. The AI LINK light should be teal. |
| Button says GET CLAUDE DESKTOP / GET CHATGPT DESKTOP | Install that app, open it once, then click CONNECT again. |
| Light is grey | Click AI LINK and tick “AI Link on”. |
| The AI says AI control is switched off | Tick “Allow AI to change settings”. |
| Several plugins open | Tell the AI which track you mean. |
| ChatGPT connects but never changes anything | Start a new chat. If it persists, use Claude Desktop (see the note on the AI Link page). |
